The questions to send every co-packer, in one document

The reason quotes from three co-packers are impossible to compare is almost never that the sites are wildly different. It is that each answered a different question, because each was asked a different one.
This template fixes the asking. Fill in the left column once, send the same file to everyone, and what comes back can be laid side by side. The awkward questions — who buys the ingredients, where the volume bands break, what a changeover after citrus costs you in days — are the ones that decide your cost structure, so they are in here rather than left to be discovered later.
Send it as a spreadsheet, not in the body of an email. A site that fills it in properly is telling you something about how they run.
